Ardeo is a Latin word that loosely translates to radiate lightshine, or glow. This name encompasses each of the values that we have at The Ardeo Law Group.

Bring

We bring light to dark situations. Often times, the need for legal help is precipitated by a difficult and often painful point in one’s life. The Ardeo Law Group is committed to infusing dark situations with light by combining compassion, intelligence, and creativity. We create an environment where understanding and communication are key and empathy is not passed over in the name of efficiency.

Commit

We commit to act with integrity in every situation. We offer genuine and honest advice and counsel. We do not over promise and under deliver. We will, in all circumstances, give advice that best suits our client’s needs, even if that is not always in the attorney’s best interest.  We will work tirelessly to protect your interests, exploring all viable options and leaving no stone unturned.

Promise

We promise that every business practice operates in the light. Corners are not cut, finances are managed diligently, organization is essential, communication is frequent and honest, and the client will always be our first concern.

The Ardeo Law Group was formed to create a place that stands out and draws in like-hearted individuals, both those seeking legal help and counsel, and other attorneys. Our vision is to become a space that radiates light, through compassion, creativity, intelligence, and integrity. We pare down unnecessary formalities to allow genuine connection to happen. We endeavor to leave every person with a sense of hope at the end of each interaction. Currently, The Ardeo Law Group practices primarily criminal defense, personal injury and accident, and civil law.

About Us

I am Kate Miller, and am the Founding Member of The Ardeo Law Group. I grew up around the Phoenix area and know the town, its culture, and its people. I went away for college to Belmont University, in Nashville, TN where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Music Business. Despite my degree in Music Business I chose to pursue my passion for justice and went to law school at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. After graduating from law school and passing the Arizona State Bar, I worked for several years with two different attorneys where I gained experience in criminal defense, civil practice, and personal injury.

I chose to start The Ardeo Law Group because I wanted to create a place where integrity is never compromised, compassion is in abundant supply, creativity is utilized, and collaboration and intelligence are never undervalued. The light I seek to bring to The Ardeo Law Group and each individual representation comes from my relationship with Jesus Christ. This law group is a reflection of His love and compassion for a hurting world, and it is my desire to bring His light to all those with whom I come in contact.
